Natural cleaning products can sometimes do great services. Gentle but effective enviromental cleaning is not just environmentally friendly, but also much cheap.

Washing Dishes – salt and water from potatoes!

Soaking dishes are easy to scrub with kitchen salt. The grains work as a disinfectant and it even polishes your dishes a little. For teflon use only with water or paper.

Odor and staings – lemon juice and cure

Lemon is the most sophisticated help for odors at home. Throw grated cure in the garbage or put into boxes. Lemon juice and salt can both remove rust from dishes. Lemon juice is also good thing to polish. In the past people were using them for washing white clother. Add about 1dl of lemon juice and also baking soda.

Water stone, ruined pots and stained glass – vinegar

Vinegar is a cheap and effective substitute for cleaning surfaces of ceramics (toilet, bowls, vases). Old sediments in your pots clean with vinegar (leave it for few hours) and steel wool. We were talking about vinegar before. It is just great help for your home!

There’s a place for a tie in our wardrobes for more than 350 years. What if you accidentally stain our tie? Try our advices:

For smaller stains you can use special cleaning products.

On a very soft cloth put a little bit of soap and try to clean gently.

You should not iron your tie. In case your tie is crumpled it is possible to use hot steam from the steam iron. Do not iron tie directly, but always through another piece of clean cotton cloth.

If the tie is silky rather give it to Dry Cleaners they’ll know what to do.

If it is polyester use delicate program.

Before you go to Dry Cleaners try it by yourself. But if you are not sure and you are afraid of ruining your tie then it is better to leave it to professionals.

Usually there is a lot of dust in your laptop and then it becomes noisier and it overheats. A lot of dust in the laptop can cause failure of cooling fan.

Vacuuming

A simple way how to get rid of dust is to use vacuum cleaner set on low power so you do not have to worry about your laptop. Always vacuum disconnected laptop!

Cleaning with Compressed Air

In shops with pc accessories there are sprays with compressed air. You just spray your laptop and that is it! That is a very nice way how to do it and it is more appropriate than vacuuming which can damage your laptop.

If you dare you can open your laptop and all his parts and clean it!

Cleaning the leather sofa is one of the most difficult tasks for several reasons. Leather is natural material that is used for chair and sofas. Usually is specially treated and dyed. It must be cleaned and “impregnated”.

The skin should be cleaned with a special cleaning soap which you should apply on a damp cloth or sponge. Prepare few cleaned cloths. You cannot use one cloth for whole sofa. You will be probably surprised how dirty it is! Never use too much water with cleaning product otherwise you will ruin your furniture.

Apply special protective layer. Again soak a cloth to the special material for treating leather and use it for sofa. After that leave to dry properly.

There are lot of ways how to treat a sofa and it is good to ask at place where you bought it. They will know what is the best.

I am sure you are facing troubles with stains on your clothes. Very annoying is also chewing gum.

Freezer

The easiest way is to freeze chewing gum. Put your clothes in the freezer and let it freeze for a while. After you take it out you will be able to peel it off easily.

Petrol

Frozen chewing gum is easy to peel off especially from smooth materials. From knitted clothes, jeans or cotton clothing it is gonna be a lot worse.

Try to use the first method. Clothes with gum put in the freezer, then lay on a towel or cloth and wipe the gum with benzine. Then wipe the stain with a damp towel or cloth and wash the clothing.

Commercial Product

There are even products for removing chewing gums!

The Best ideas are usually the simplest. That confirms Dutch engineering student Boyan Slat (19) who introduced his concept of floating booms for seas and oceans.

It looks like a giant stingray and will be driven by the energy of moving water and sun. The device is so light that it will accurately reproduce the movement of water during storms and its huge shoulders will catch all plastic crap that you can find in the water.

Existing solutions with networks was not so good because networks were catching fish but this should be alright also for miniature plankton. Boyan says his invention will clean up to twenty billion tons of waste and will clean water to five years and it could greatly increase people’s awareness about the world’s landfills of plastic in the oceans. He seees big importance in recycling and reducing plastic packaging.

Talented youngster extablished foundation The Ocean Cleanup which makes should choose enough money to develop his innovative idea. He also belives that this invention could make up to $500 million a year from recycling the waste collected. You can get involved on his website.
